When using digital modes with VOX enabled, my radio keys up normally when I begin to transmit, but after I stop transmitting on the computer, the radio will continue to transmit a signal until I turn off VOX. ![]() Upon keying up again, there will once again be no power output, until I whistle, and the ALC meter will spike once more.Ī similar and potentially related issue popped up lately as well. Secondly, after I stop whistling, the ALC will remain maxed out until I unkey. ![]() If I really try and be precise, I can get it to only deflect to the middle, but this is after a minute or so of going back and forth. I'll slowly increase the gain, and suddenly, the power output will suddenly increase to ~20 watts and my ALC indicator will deflect all the way to the right. Starting with my power to ~20 watts and my gain at a quarter turn, when I key up and whistle, my external tuner (MFJ-949E) reads that there is no power being outputted. ![]() Lately, my ALC control on my Yaesu FT-757 GX has been very touchy.
